The Client Liberty Eagle Holdings is the Kenyan franchise holder for Subway, Pizza Hut, and Yves Rocher. They are bringing global brands to the local market, with a focus on quality, international standards, and value for the customer. The company plans to continue expanding the number of outlets for each brand, as well as brings in and set up new retail brands to serve the growing Kenyan market.
The Challenge Retail comes with its own challenges, be it logistics, supply chain, food safety, compliance, sales & marketing, or staff training. Retail in East Africa comes with even more unique challenges. What it requires is knowledge of retail best practices, coupled with the agility, adaptability and speed of action required to operate in this market.
The Results Through our networks and referral systems, we engaged with Jeddidah, a Kenyan who had Come Home and had been working within the Kenyan retail sector but was now seeking a challenge as she had built the systems necessary for her team to operate independently. She had previously gained her experience with Sears in the US, playing several roles across sales, marketing, and operations. We connected her to Liberty Eagle Holdings, and they immediately saw a fantastic fit, where they could leverage on her international expertise and local operating knowledge in the capacity of a Retail Director, overseeing all their brands across the region.
